Ownership

Maplewood at Danbury is owned by Gregory and Christopher Smith, natives of Danbury. The brothers operate Allegiance Development and Allegiance Realty Corporation and have been successful in developing commercial, hospitality and residential real estate throughout the country. Maplewood at Danbury is their entrée into the senior housing business. Allegiance Development is based in Armonk, New York. Allegiance Realty Corporation is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.


Management Company

Northbridge Companies is a senior housing advisory and development firm. The team brings years of experience in senior housing management, regulatory advisement, financial advisory and development services to assisted living providers throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic. The team has been active in the development of the assisted living business since its inception, particularly in the formation of Alzheimer’s-specific designs and program implementation in Connecticut and Massachusetts. The Northbridge Companies is based in Burlington, Massachusetts.
